7) Third‑Party Services (Ads & Analytics)

• The Service may display ads (e.g., Google AdSense/Ad Manager) and use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). Your use is also subject to those providers’ terms and policies.
• We do not control and are not responsible for third‑party sites or services. Accessing them is at your own risk.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL TRAITCHECK, ITS AFFILIATES, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID (IF ANY) FOR THE SERVICE IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TraitCheck and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.

13) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to conflicts‑of‑law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Hong Kong for the resolution of any disputes.

14) Severability; Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
